Wedding Photography Workshop: Wedding Storyteller
Words, music, photography, art, culture and passion. Slow ingredients, which marked all the moments of the last wedding photography workshop.
An intimate and creative two-day seminar in a charming village in the Marche countryside.
In this short (but intense) wedding photography workshop we rediscovered the value of slow society. Out of the frenetic and incessant rhythms of the modern world we re-appropriated the authenticity of every single moment. Every moment lived and observed from different perspectives, becomes an element to be told.
The Slow Society is a hymn to savor life (encounters, dialogues, emotions, sensations) at a slower pace. Only by stopping and living every moment intensely can we find new languages to tell the outside world. And this we can do especially through photography.

I try every day to apply this philosophy in my wedding stories and in my work as a wedding photographer. Every day I strive to tell different stories through different languages; this is what a wedding storyteller should do: only in this way wedding photography becomes a storytelling made of emotions and life.
The slow society was a useful and inspiring wedding photography workshop for everyone. We looked for a personal language, new cues, observing the world from new perspectives. We let ourselves be contaminated by the creative explosion typical of artists. And above all we intertwined the world of analogical photography with that of digital photography rediscovering the pleasure of printing our photos with old rolls of film in the “legendary” darkroom.
For my work as a wedding photoreporter these occasions are useful food for thought to find new techniques for my work. The new wedding season will start soon and I must be ready to experiment new “artistic” visions for the protagonists of my stories.
I want to thank my friend Francesca for organizing this new wedding photography course in a beautiful and charming setting, in a small and cozy country town in the silence of January… between old walls steeped in history and the white of a timeless space we took time to slow down, cuddle and tell stories.
See you next time!
