Same-sex Wedding: Kyle & Jason love story

Two boys and a great love. Kyle and Jason were waiting for me at Villa Baroncino for my wedding photographer service: “Hi Andrea, welcome to our Italy!” – they welcomed me in their wedding suite, with a playful and ironic tone. They too had been bewitched by the great beauty and poetry of Italy.

In that amazing setting, they were going to celebrate their wedding. Villa Baroncino is an ancient Estate, in the hills of the Umbrian forest a few kilometers from Lake Trasimeno, in one of the most suggestive medieval villages in Italy.

A perfect wedding location for a wedding photoreporter. The gardens are the main attraction of Villa Baroncino. The plant varieties are typical of Umbrian and Tuscan flora: olive and cypress trees, but also plants that literally drive me crazy like lavender, rosemary and sage.

The villa is perfect in every detail and completely immerged in the green of secular olive trees. The elegance of the interior makes this wedding location incomparable and suggestive for any Italian wedding photographer.

Umbria is a warm, romantic and passionate land. A stunning landscape among the clouds that gives a great sense of freedom. The freedom to be, the freedom to love.

Being a wedding photographer gives me the opportunity to travel and meet many places and people. Not a simple trip to places or cities, but a more introspective one, in the soul and in the eyes of the people I meet on every occasion.

Every time I try to “steal” those unrepeatable moments so intimate and intense. What impressed me most about Kyle and Jason was their spontaneous naturalness. And as I watched them, shot after shot, I was charmed by their enthusiasm and unstoppable desire to be cheerful.

It’s people like them that make me happy to be a wedding photoreporter.
