You know when you feel like being in a cage? Well… I felt like that in 2007: caught in an office and surrounded by excel files. Everything changed when I attended a canon workshop in Rome, and one of my Trastevere photos was rewarded. Everything started from that: I started playing with black and white film while on vacation, then I started refining my imagery making them even more artistic. My willing to take photos started rising even more everyday. I started thinking differently, looking at the world from a different point of view. My CURIOSITY became a fundamental part of my life.
Travelling and discovering the world, meeting new people, making new experiences. This is how I feel curiosity, this is how I feel Photography. Entering into people’s lives in tiptoes, living their emotions and impress those (forever) in a frame. I also believe printing is the key, as a non printed photo has no reason to be shot. Photography, is real passion to me, it’s love, it’s introspection and most of all, it’s empathy. “The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
